I think she has a product line that conflicts with the contracts of the show.
I would like to see them try that show in BR.
The same project houses in Waco that goes for 100K would cost close to 2x as much in BR.

I guess you're right. Seems like 5 years old of a show would be entering its peak.
I think this was the case with Duck Dynasty...took them a few years, and then they skyrocketed for a little while before they fell off later on.

They are really divorced now?

not denying her talent (or his), but it was pretty much the same shite every show: repurposed barn doors, big table, farm sink, rinse, repeat.
Its not a show that's supposed to be groundbreaking and evolutionary. Networks love them some consistent, formulaic, simple programming that they can shite out.
Its the perfect entertainment for the 'Basic Bitch' throughout America. Kudos to them for making a crap load of money in the process.

What about those twin dudes? I don't watch much, but they all seem to be pretty much the same thing with different personalities.

She’s done plenty of non-white kitchens. And has done houses without any shiplap.
It’s also Waco, TX. Keep with the theme of the area.
I have yet to see one. Actually did find this article though that has 10 great kitchens she did. Only 8 of the 10 are white.

Well-done white kitchens are classic for a reason.

I get that. But you'd think that certain homes and interests would lend themselves to other materials and colors, but Joanna is gonna cookie cutter that shite no matter what.

Never seen so many dudes underimpressed and opinionated with interior design.
I've only seen maybe 7-10 shows but the designs are fire, and that's not my style. I don't believe it's just her. I think she has a few designers on the show for help. It's the layers, and placement that make it so good.

i live about 30 minutes from Waco and they are making a killing there. they honestly are keeping up the economy for the whole town with Baylor's demise.
More hyperbole from this board. Baylor only has 6 home games this year and 2 of them are OU an UT (which both did/will have good attendance even if Baylor fans don't show up like they did in 2013-2015), so to say that the local economy is going to crash is a little much. Baylor hasn't had any enrollment problems (like Mizzou has).
As far as the SIlos go, I have been told that the lines are terrible on a regular weekend. I would imagine Gameday weekends are much worse.
I have to wonder how popular their restaurant (soon to open) and shop will be after 3 or 4 years of no new episodes.

I never said I wasn't impressed with her work. She's very talented.

If watching hot bitches fix houses makes you gay, then I am flaming.

We love HGTV and their show has been our favorite housing show. But I can see the demands of the production can get old. They had a good run. Wish them well.

I just saw the episode where the producer paid them to fix a house in Waco and now this. He will be able to sell it easy but probably have to move back to California now.

I’ll say it. HGTV sucks to work for and they no longer need the network.

I wonder the same. After all, the show is what puts you in the limelight and in front of people. Maybe they'll rerun episodes for quite some years?
