So you think if we did a study on only the Asians that were here since their ancestors enslavement they would be in line with the black lineage from enslavemnt? Please answer honestly
No, probably not. I think it's a combination of a cultural element and an external elements.

"love it or leave it."
Nothing changes with that attitude.
And its common on td.
Small minds.

Well in the blacks defense, they probably still win that race.

Post of the day.
That's a good one to leave on and get to work.

Yeah.. a pretty unique situation of believing in the importance of education and family.
Yeah their culture plays an important role for sure.
I think one misunderstanding in these conversations is this idea that privilege or a lack thereof hasn't been earned over time. The privilege or lack of privilege for a newborn is unearned, but the privilege of the group has been developed for hundreds of years.

All I hear is the problems and complaints.
Yes, it's tougher for a black kid in the hood to 'make it out.' Unfortunately, many reasons it is tough is because his poverty stricken culture cannot live by simple ethics.
It is not the fault of the white man that blacks kill their brethren. It is not the fault of the white man that blacks resort to drugs at a higher rate. Those temptations are worse in poor communities, but this is not a white/black issue, it's a socioeconomic issue. Unfortunately, there is a larger percentage of blacks that live in those places.
You don't see whites crying out about lack of rights to 'hillbillies' in trailer parks.

White privilege is a made up term for hard workers.

Yeah, trump needs to chill out on this.
No one should get fired for taking a knee during the anthem, it's not a requirement to stand.
I do think it's disrespectful towards those who made the sacrifice that gave them that right to begin with.
At the same time, it isn't as if it's a violent protest either. If it progresses to that then I'll be pissed. But I've been more lax about this than a day or two ago.
If the players do this, then that's ok. But be the element of change once your career is done, reach out to the community and law enforcement and your senators but do it respectfully

By the way what is white?
All Caucasians (this would include all middle easterners, Indians/pakistani's, Hispanics with more European features?
Is it Anglo Saxon and Celtic people? Or Nordic? Slavic origins?
Or just from the caucus mountains?

Dude needs to head over to other countries and see what's happening.
A large portion of the world still stones people and conducts honor killings.

you can answer as can everyone else. Why do you take your white privilege as an insult? You little kids getting upset over that term is hilarious

And when whites try to help them by giving them good advice to correct these issues, they are labeled as privileged and racist. And if a black tries to give them the same advice, they are an uncle tom.
They don't want to help themselves and they don't want anyone else to help them. They want everyone to accept "the culture". And they'll never let go of slavery so what's the point......

I love Pop as a coach but that may have gone too far. The reality is it is not always about race. Some of the discrimination is about ethnicities and handicaps. Pop is right that race relations need to improve, but wrong that only one side as he insinuates, or as I took him to mean it, needs to work on it.
I wished Pop would STFU or put his money where his mouth is. If he is "embarrassed" then he should step down as Team USA coach and do something besides lecture me about it. I am just a SPED teacher so I do not have the platform or experience he does, but I do know that there are white kids, Hispanic/latino kids, and "Indian" kids that get oppressed from the African American kids in this town. Works all ways, not just one, or at least in my experience.
