This was awesome

I'm sure this administration would ban the students for three home games if that happened again. They can't even curse anymore

They can stop the piped in music for sure.

Everything else that sucks is money-whoring related unfortunately. It all needs to get reimagined. Maybe we can get an athletic director to flat out say "start giving to the academic side of your university" and the nickle and dime shite can stop on the athletic side. With that you could re-think the obnoxious way we run football like a killjoy cash register.

PS- south endzone is a ghetto. Nothing you can do to get me to go to a game in one of those seats.

Let any student in with the scan of their LSU ID.
Sell beer.
Upgrade the concourse TV’s.
Re-entry with a ticket.
Reduce the zone of paid parking and double those prices.
The band only plays 1/3 of the time they used to. That’s got to change.
Don’t stop play for TV commercials on changes of possession.
Show scores more prominently than on a SEZ jumbo tron.
Allow me to punch out stupid people around my seats with no consequences.

Get rid of the piped in music and allow the students to run fricking wild. I used to complain about the students and some of their antics. To hell with it. If they want to scream STTDB, then let them do it.

We need those students to be fricking savages. I'm talking about the days of making Tebow cry after his phone number was stolen. I was wrong about the students not playing a HUGE role in the atmosphere of Tiger Stadium.
Holy crap someone finally gets it. The school essentially neutered the student section, and leaving early was the result. As a student during 2011/12, I and others lived for neck.

Piped in music started blowing my head up last night . At least could've been turned down a little bit in the second half. It was ridiculous. My old ears are mush now

Joe stinks. He considers football a cash cow with no way to increase income while basketball represent a revenue opportunity. So, he takes football for granted while working to make basketball better and more competitive.

Like all sports through time, college football has peaked and in decline. It's universal and happening all around the country. The stadium is fantastic, the product is very poor and worse than ever to watch and enjoy.

I'm not mad or angry with anyone it's just not worth going anymore and I will not do so again.

I love my State and flagship university and have great memories of what was once.

I don't like the parking charges either... but with limited options and 150K people on campus I would imagine the parking and traffic situation would be far, far, FAR worse if all the parking was free.

I think there needs to be better education about how contraflow works. They need to invest in some better signage.

Also... when you have to park in the lot off Gourier, that's a hike from the stadium... that's part of the reason some people leave the game early.

I can understand leaving a few min early. It's the leaving at halftime I don't understand.

I believe the biggest problem is traffic. If the game is close until the end, you may not get out of BR until 2 AM

Those people sitting at those table are probably fans also. Not sure about the radio show but I know at the bash they solicit all size businesses to buy those tables so that they have enough money to put on the bash so that you can be there. Your $35 ticket doesn't pay the whole cost for venue rental, security, food, etc. But I get your point, just wanted to clarify that many of us sitting at those tables are small business people who are fans as well, instead of the large corporate sponsors.

OK will take a stab at this. Also I can't understand why this is so difficult for an administration to understand. The fans have spoken about these for years.

1. More band and less piped in music except at half time and before game. Put a mic infront of the band so the entire stadium can hear them better as well. Sometimes its hard to hear them in the south endzone. I imagine the upper decks are similar.

2. Parking - Be reasonable on parking ticket prices for RV and Car parking. Its really getting out of hand. The lot we have parked in for years for free then first come first serve ($20-40) is now $100 per game. That is completely out of control for a parking spot for Syracuse. RV parking for the Auburn game is $300 per spot. I understand needing to make money but there has to be something reasonable.

3. Bathrooms and concession stands are as bad as any stadium. Bathrooms need to be upgraded. Enlarge the concession stands to help with the long lines. Allow people to bring in unopened water bottles.

4. Quit finding ways to eliminate student activities. If you think underage drinking is a concern have more cops to give MIP's. Punish individuals, not whole groups. Don't eliminate the organized tailgates for them.

5. Have scanners available at the gates at the end of games. You can scan your ticket at the end. Priority points for away games, bowl games, and parking and ticket upgrades are based are credited to your account.

6. Sell Beer and Liquor. I know thats out of LSU's hands a little but figure out a loop hole.

7. Enlarge the Endzone seats. Who cares if we are 102k or 90k. Make it more comfortable.

Tiger Band played only 5 or 6 songs in the stands last night, not including the chant music that goes with downs and defensive stops. The rest was god awfully loud piped in music. You can't even hear the band play the fight song when the team runs out because somebody at LSU decided that we were gonna use "Welcome to the Jungle" instead. Auburn does that. We don't need to copy them.

Just rewatched the game. LSU had more butts in seats than many of its SEC rivals. Tennessee's stands looked like the amount of people who show up for a spring game.

The piped in music is horrific. The songs are old and outdated.

Make getting to and from the game would be a great place to start.

People who call themselves LSU fans to show up. A real fan is there through the thick and thin.

Actually, I don't see a hell of a lot that LSU can do themselves to fix what bothers me.

a few things that they could do to enhance my experience are as follows:

- fix the jumbo trons....as much technical shite as we have in the stadium, I still find myself struggling to see the damn score/statistics on the scoreboard. Take all of the advertisements off the north end jumbotron and show replays in a size that the whole stadium can see them. Break the score and statistics out into a side board that is laid out in a more easy to read arrangement.

- put some AC in the bathrooms. I heard a lot in the offseason about improvements to the bathrooms. the paint looks good, but there is still a 15 minute wait in a sweltering bathroom filled with piss steam every time I take a leak.

- I have found it a lot easier to get out after games since they turned off the contraflow on Nicholson. but I do miss the tailgaters who use to set up along that stretch. mainly miss the LSU coffin, etc.

the rest that bothers me is just the length and pace of the games due to tv commercials...but that will not be changing anytime soon.

The piped in music is an abomination. And I stayed for the whole game.
