Get out more, meet some Dr.'s, lawyer's, dentist's that fly. Then hop rides with them anytime you need to go somewhere and avoid all the TSA theater and lines and airport employees in general.

For out of country or the US territories like Puerto Rico my cousin and other med types usually rent something pretty substantial if for no other reason than to haul the equipment for their charitable work. Not unusual for hunting/fishing excursions and stuff for a group to pitch in on the rental too.
Cessna's not that bad, can still get places even with fuel stops faster than arriving 3 hours early for the TSA crap. I haven't flown commercial since about 1991-2. Airlines want my $ they'll make it enjoyable and easy. Not a hassle and uncomfortable.
