But that began to change after he won the nomination and then I grew to like him a lot because he has the right enemies in the very same people I despise with a passion and the hysterical and completely over the top reaction towards from the usual suspects in the SJWs, BLM and democrats was predictable but the same hysterical reaction as well from republicans Never Trumpers as well only proved his point and got me thinking maybe Trump is onto something here.
Oh, he clearly is.
Let's take this specific scenario here and discuss what would have happened had Trump allowed the visit to take place:
1) Curry, along with another teammate or two, would have denounced the visit by saying they can't go see a "nazi" or "white supremacist" in the WH knowing full well they bowed to Obama.
2) The MSM would have latched on to those players, promoted their ideals, and put them on blast 24/7.
3) The racist idiots at ESPN would have had segment after segment promoting this, all the while saying they aren't pushing politics.
4) The other team members would have shown up, and would have been completely ignored unless they would have done something classless like flip off Trump the way one of the idiots on the Cubs did.
5) The MSM would have then lied about the visit, crowd size, etc. This would have gone on for weeks while sports fans would have had more politics injected into their product.
Trump cutting off the invite cut off all of this predictable, child-like behavior. Good for him.

Yep.
Getting out in front of the narrative and framing it is what he has done succesfully before.
The first seeds of doubt towards opposition against Trump was actually planted in my head right after the Chicago rally being canceled because of violence and we had republicans and so called constitutional conservatives blame Trump like it was his fault instead of the violent protestors that were actually being violent.
That was eye opening to me and just was the beginning of a journey to voting Trump. I really backed off the Trump hating rhetoric quite a bit after that.
