I finally will have my day in court in November after serving my ex with contempt. I had her served last December. Yet if I miss a child support payment I guarantee my arse will be in front of judge with a quickness.
I don't want to say much until our case is heard but her attorney used every trick in the book to keep delaying it thinking I'll give up. Even better is she continued to shoot herself in the foot. My case against her is even stronger now than it was almost a year ago.
You're right about how it changes people. It's going on almost two years and my ex acts like I'm the most evil person to walk the planet. All because I did not want to buy her a Tahoe and move to New Orleans. The latter especially because the time we did live in New Orleans, we spent every waking moment with her a-hole parents. It's cute when you're in your twenties sweetheart but you're a few years removed from 40, time to grow up dear.

If any child is domiciled in Jefferson Parish call Guy Deluape.
If any child is domiciled in Orleans Parish call Jeff Hoffman.
Thank me later. Women don't stand a chance against these guys. Unless they get to them first.
But if she hires Jeff, call Guy! and vice versa. They will fight you for a toaster...

I know a single mother who married an older man 20 years her senior. He owned his own roofing business and was a big strapping all-around handi-man.
So she found her provider & protector for her & her son, and admits she selfishly married him for that, not out of love.
Her son died tragically in his 20's, and the man had her son buried in one of his plots. For a time, the couple grew closer.
Flash forward 30 years, he's in his 80's; she's in her 60's. After years of indifference and a loveless foundation, they hate each other, and fight over every single thing daily.
It gets so bad during the divorce, he tells her he wants her son out of his plot. He said if she didn't get the son out, he'd dig him out himself, and feed stray dogs with the bones!

My buddy just served his wife this week. She's been cheating on him for a while and he's caught her before. She claims that the Jody is raping her and she has some form of Stockholm syndrome or some shite.
For the last year he's been collecting evidence. He's got her on tape saying she's being raped by this dude, that my buddy has always been a good guy and has never harmed her. He's got pictures of them fricking.
One night this week he caught her sucking the dudes dick. Served her the next day. Wants full custody of their 2 kids and is demanding child support. Swore out a restraining order against her so she can't see her kids.
He's going scorched earth on her arse and I hope it goes well for him. He's got one of the best lawyers around and she lawyered up with a fricking moron.
Too bad he didn't listen when they were dating and we all said she was crazy, but some dudes can't think straight when they're getting pussy.

All of the horror stories I've read about this stuff are awful. I'm looking for the one, but it's things like this as to why I've not pulled the trigger yet.
If I didn't desire legitimate heirs I'd just stick to smashing strange and living alone for the rest of my life.

5 years ago went thru divorce ... after 25 yrs of marriage. I fought the system and ex, eventually won full custody of my then 13 yr old son. My daughter was 20. it was the worst experience of my life. pure hell. but I don't regret doing it. sometimes, things and people change (or don't)
every man has look in the mirror each day & be satisfied w/himself. Im fine.

The system is unfair to the Men. Not the accused. They system is biased, and in women's favor.

I've been married almost 20 yrs...if it ever went to shite, which it won't, I would never deprive her of our kids, nor would she.
we're just not that type of people

Relative of mine said in court, after the judge granted half + the house to her, "well,..since I've been away from her I've gotten 3" of my dick back so I guess it all evens out".

My ex leveled a bunch a baseless accusations to muddy the waters and hide her own misbehavior. Dragged my parents and friends into it. Custody battle lasted over 2 years, cost me north of $60k, and a ton of heartache. But I ended up with custody of the kids and kept all community property without paying her a dime. I hate that fricking bitch with every fiber of my being for what she put my parents, friends, and most especially the children thru.

Also let's not forget the most criminal device of all: alimony. An antiquated and evil tool. It is 100% unnecessary in our women's liberation era. They want equality? Get rid of alimony.

Yep. Caught mine cheating. Got the house, car, dog, primary physical custody of the kids, and part of her military retirement.

Its a shame, but marriage really is a losing proposition for men, especially when things go south.

Any smart OT BAW would gender change before the divorce.
