$39.98 v. $56.95

Is Take 5 doing something worth the extra money? Obviously doesn't take 5 minutes anymore hence the name change a few years ago.

Yes, they're ripping you off for the extra money.

Walmart oil is not the same as you get at other places. Tires are not as good either.

Take 5 rarely takes more than 10 minutes. At least the one on Coursey in BR.

O your paying for convenience. Wanna be in as out in 10 minutes? The quick lube is your choice. Wanna walk around Walmart for 2 hours while they change your oil? Go to Walmart.

Also, the point made above about Walmart having shite tires and shite oil is true. The tires can even look identical to ones at an authorized (brand name here) dealer but the are not the same. Different compounds in the tires. Oil is the same way. Unless you pay extra or brig your own , you're getting shite mottos oil at Walmart.

if youre going to pay someone else to do it, pay the $70 and get it done at the dealership. Be cheap or be lazy, don't be both.

I don't mind paying a tad more as my time is worth much more... Take 5 is well worth the price in that regard.

I also don't need some dealership or some dude who thinks he's a mechanic that I need $1300 in normal wear and tear repairs.

There's a place near my house that does oil changes for $35 I'm about 10 minutes. Don't even get out of the car. Pull over the grease pit, they start draining while they ask you what kind of oil you want. By the time they run your credit card they are finished.

Takes longer than that to go buy oil and a filter. And I only save a few dollars doing it myself.

It's good to know how to do it but it's honestly a waste of time for me. I only do it if they are closed.
