There's no way they can build a 1500 mile wall for 1.6 billion.

Who claims it would be funded in a single year?

There isn't going to be a 1,500 mile continuous wall. Natural barriers won't need to be reinforced with a wall.

The U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill Thursday that will provide $1.2 trillion to fund the government past Sept. 30, and will allocate $1.6 billion towards President Donald Trump’s border wall.

This is a 3 month funding bill. We have 7 years to get all of the money.

At that current rate we will get about 44.6 billion to do the border.

It is a down payment, supposedly. The media and democrats saying it is not happening is convoluted. ABC News just put out an article saying NO BORDER WALL, Trump fails on his promises, and some monkey poll survey saying people don't want it.

Yet ABC printed the article posted above that bids were going in for the border wall. I wish we could trust the media.

Donald Trump’s border wall is being prototyped in California

Yeah, no shite.

A good estimate is $7.5 million per mile. Need only about a 1000 mile wall. The rest of the terrain is way too dangerous to cross on foot. It's a natural barrier.

So you're looking at $7.5 billion to build a 1000 mile wall. shite, double it for good measure and call it $15 billion.

So we already have a total of $3 billion allocated to wall construction. As long as these wall contractors are kicking back some campaign contributions to our reps and senators we can ensure funds flowing to the wall project.

We'll save billions by using cheap Mexican labor. Trump said Mexico was going to pay for the wall...maybe he just meant they'll pay for it by saving us a ton in labor costs

Sure you could.

Two 10' game fences 250 yards apart. With land mines in the middle*.

Well this is only to fund the Govt for 1 quarter.

I would assume they would allocate more funds the next quarter.
