I am looking to see some intermediate passes over the middle.
Want to see Brennan get in earlier and go about 10-12 for 120 with relatively "Safe" passes to get his confidence up. (Not the high risk OTM BS that Crowton had Jarrett Lee doing as a true freshman)

toss dive.
really effective play that rantards love to hate.

We need to throw the ball every single down. I hope the coaches realize this. If we run the ball even once we will never win another game

75% short/intermediate passes. 24% Helaire, 1% competent kicking

Throws on 1st down to keep D off balance. Would also like to see some throws where you hit the receiver in space so they can get YAC.
Otherwise, take what the D gives you. Have a feeling we will see Brennan in the 2d half and he will get a chance to throw downfield.
Stay healthy Tigers!

We need to practice this new offense during game conditions more than trying to sneak up on stronger opponents.
Do you really think there is an advantage to plays another team have never seen.
With all the motion and deception this offense brings to the table the defenses will be confused and the their coaching staff cannot make adjustments once our offense sets up.
We disagree and LSU needs to develop the forward pass and perfect the play action and intermediate routes.

Hoping to see Brennan get some playing time maybe a few passes
I wanna see this too. It'll really piss off that guy that wanted Brennan to redshirt lol

Fewer penalties, better red-zone offense, better kickoff coverage, more passing, and please more explosive plays tonight. Oh yeah and don't let them cross the 50-yard line again either this weekend.

Thank You! I have been preaching this since last season. I expected Canada to address this but we have not seen it yet. I trust our abilities to run, go long, and go to the sides/flats but we have not seen a consistent passing game over the middle.
I do appreciate our spreading the ball across the field as I feel this is a necessary tool to beat Bama.

no that has been a problem since miles was scarred in 2008 with the pick sixes from Lee. we basiclly stopped throwing short and intermediate middle. we basically kept everything outside the hashes and in 2013 we threw some deep middle with zach.

A tipped, dropped or poorly thrown pass over the middle is the most likely to be intercepted.

+ LOTS OF POINTS!
+ More Explosive plays this week
+ Backups getting reps in 2nd half
I don't imagine that we'll open up the playbook much more than we did vs. BYU, especially if we don't have too.

I want to see how this team is focused for the game, this is the perfect storm of a game where a team can come out and sleep walk.
If the team does come out slow, how will the coaching staff handle it, that's what I want to see.
