Staying in the Hyatt by the Superdome. What's good that's within walking distance? Not walk on's because I can have that in BR anytime.

Borgne is in the hotel and is pretty good. Company Burger, Willa Jean, Maypop, and Johnny Sanchez are very close and are excellent.

Bornge on the 1st floor of the Hyatt has a great happy hour. $3 all craft beer and 5 or 6 $5 small plates.

All good suggestions and all close by.
Balise is also very good and close.
Why does it have to be walking distance? Also walking distance is a very relative term in NOLA. You can walk quite easily and fast to the entire Warehouse District and etc and go pretty much anywhere.

Herbsaint, but like was mentioned "walking distance" is relative.

Yep. There's a ton within walking distance. Luke, Meril, Marcello's. Even August.

Well what are you in the mood for? Seafood? Sandwiches?

Like I and others have said walking distance is extremely relative when it comes to NOLA. Very compact city and you can walk all the way to the river in probably less than 20 minutes from the Hyatt.
So, to be honest, pretty much anything in the Downtown, CBD, Warehouse District, etc is open to you.
So be specific about what you want and people can direct you.
Almost all of the suggestions here have been great.

All great choices. As well as the previous Herbsaint.
I will add La Boca and Cochon.
Damn we have a lot of great restaurants in Nola. I'm hungry now.

+1. Make sure to get the baked rigatoni if you go there.
