Justin Rogers injury

Heard he had an injury Friday night that looked similar to the FSU quart back. Sack from behind, slid down his legs and fell very awkwardly.
All I was told.
Anybody know any additional info?
TCU fans are melting if this is known info.

I wouldn't categorize them as the same type of injury... unless it's a wide open category of being called a knee injury.
FSU QB was sacked from behind and looked like the injury was caused when knee hit the ground; Rogers happened during a scramble/run and got hit making a move. That kids leg flopped a little all over. Watch the video and the look on the kids face.... it wasn't good.

It sucks for the kid. He had a bright future and that could be in jeapordy .
Even though he didn't decide on LSU, I think every college football fan will root for a speedy recovery.
Just never want to see that for a kid.

The look on his face after the injury was much tougher to see than the actual injury.

Hard to watch. Heartbreaking seeing the look on his face.

Truly terrible for him

Think Rogers might want to stay closer to home now ??

Not necessarily. Don't think an injury would determine location. Let's see how the coaches react now that he is done for a while. If interest slows from TCU I can see him not wanting to go there.

Just watched the video and based on what I saw he didn't just sustain an injury, he broke his leg. It appears he broke his femur in half. The look on his face after was pure shock and pain. Hopefully it wasn't a complex fracture with muscle damage. Feel bad for the kid. I sustained a similar injury years ago and it took a long while to recover.

TCU is closer to home for Shreveport kids. Dallas is an easy 3 hour drive where BR is 4+ hours.

TCU is in fort Worth which is another 45 minutes from Dallas without traffic. With traffic that can be 2 hours easy. (I live here, traffic has gotten way way worse since all the Californians got here)

I can get from Shreveport to BR in less than 4 hours (75-80 mph on I49). Ft Worth which is about 40 miles closer will take longer bc you ain't taking an "easy drive" through Dallas metro traffic.

Rogers probably has a dislocated knee. That may entail torn ligaments or not, which will be the deciding factor on how bad the injury is. Francois has torn patellar ligaments. Its season ending, but he will be fine. If Rogers tore ligaments around his knee... that would be very ungood.

I say, Rogers should switch commit to LSU ....
Come to Baton Rouge and redshirt.
Giving him ample to rehab and learn the offense.

he broke his leg
I agree. In the video, when he's on the stretcher, you can see something pushing against his skin from the inside. Would probably be the best-case scenario for him

I drive both on a regular basis, and although TCU is about 18 miles closer than LSU from Bosier,, the drive is ABSOLUTELY harder to Ft. Worth.
More traffic by a bunch and nearly all the way through DFW to TCU.

No offense but why would LSU want to be involved now? The kid made his choice and said clearly he had no interest in LSU. So be it.
