I'd flip Orgeron and Muschamp.

How about 2. Joe McKnight and Janzen Jackson. Eaux is a recruiting MOFO. He helped USC get Joe because he didn't want to play against him. He got Janzen because he personally knew his dad who is a college coach and apparently wanted his son to play for Eaux. Enough to string LSU along for a couple/few days after signing day with the excuse of his mother being there when he signed.

What were bad things then are now good things to me. Coach Eaux is a cruitin MOFO. LSU has him now. Much better than him being at USC coming to Louisiana for players or Arkansas or any other SEC school.

Coach O is average at best as a HC.

Which win last year put you over the top for Coach O?

When he fired:
Cam Cameron
Bradley Dale Peveto
Dameyune Craig
Jabar Juluke

When he extended:
Dava Aranda

When he promoted:
Dennis Johnson

When he hired:
Matt Canada
Pete Jenkins
Mickey Joseph
Tommie Robinson

What game last year put you over the top to hate him? Did you not even notice in your LSU fandom that he replaced the offensive staff from the WINS and LOSSES from last year?

Are we going to cry about games from last year while knowing changes have been made to improve on the good and bad from last year's team?

Cry if you want, it's your prerogative. Sounds like a song but cry if you want. I'm here for you.

This season? Coach O is as likely to be fired as Saban this season but the top 3 are highly likely.

I like O, he's just not qualified to be HC at LSU. Not his fault. We just have an AD that didn't run a real search and we had to settle for a journeyman DL coach.

Okay idiot

Here is your post again:
quote:

O might be able to do just that if he can maintain two top coordinators simultaneously every year but the possibility of being able to do that is slim to none.

You never said he made a bad hire because he hasn't. But in your catastrophe syndrome enveloped mind you say it is slim to none he will do it again. I just pointed out you were wrong and for you to point out a hire he made to think this.

Don't get bent out of shape. Prove yourself right and me wrong. Tell me a bad hire he has made to make you think it is "slim to none" he will do it again.

Don't get mad at me. You are the idiot who made the post. Prove me wrong and go away happy or own up to your idiocy. I don't have a dog in the fight other than pointing out that you are an idiot and can't back up what you say. Prove me wrong !!!

Finishing with the 7th ranked recruiting class in the nation with only 23 signees? After only 3 months on the job?

Most of those were already committed....

Les was fired 4 months before signing day.

He's not getting fired though, too much talent to tank.

My bet is on sumlin.

Absolutely no way LSUAD is gonna be paying Les Miles AND Ed O to NOT coach. Coach O gets at least three years almost no matter what.

Really 4 months. Les Miles was fired in September or October. Signing day was in February of the next year.

Did they think they were going to play for Les Miles in February of the next year?

I don't think he's fired but I think it reflects that he hasnt coached a whole season at LSU A
and his previous stint was unsuccessful. Winning and proving this criticism wrong is the only way it's going to change.

yeah, someone making $500 or less at Pittsburgh wouldn't leave for $1.5 million at LSU

I never said that it can't happen or wouldn't happen. All I said was that just because someone is offered a job, that doesn't mean that they would accept said job.

quote:

"People on here are idiots." He turned down LSU last year and LSU kept Les.

Now you're stating to sound like an idiot. Get with the times man. Les was fired in September. You're talking about 2015, not last year.

quote:

If you followed the LSU football program at all, by now - 11 months later you would realize that this was based on Kiffin NOT getting a head coaching job at another university.

Which proves my point of just because you offer someone a job, doesn't mean that person will accept that job.

quote:

I have seen your hatred.

Holy shite, you're one angry motherfricker.

quote:

Explain how it will not be easy for O to call his friends - people who he gave their first college jobs to - or any other coordinator in the nation he wants.

I tried to explain it to you, you don't want to accept my explaination. Now, Orgeron might be able to get whoever he wants, whenever he needs them. It didn't work out for him last year since Kiffin was his first choice. But he did ok (I guess) with the hiring of Canada. But that doesn't necessarily mean he would be successful going forward.

That's all most people on here are trying to convey to you. I'm not bashing Orgeron like you seem to think, but you don't seem to be able to tell the difference between someone bad-mouthing the guy and people who are only concerned with the direction this program might take.

Relax, 2 days till kickoff.

But was does this say about the national perception of Ogeron?

Are you really asking about the national perception of hiring a career d-line coach as a head coach?

The only people who think Orgeron was a good hire are the retarded portion of the LSU fan base. That should tell you all you need to know about the national perception of Orgeron.

I think MCElwain seems way too secure at that number. Not that I think he's going to get fired but UF already under a major investigation. If this season would go south it could get ugly.
