for real? i work in IT, it's pretty common. i've been using large databases and don't use excel much now, but i will have to work with non IT teams in this role, hence excel. it's a consulting gig.

I have found those tests generally don't like shortcuts.

I know, big difference between the quickest way to make something work and the textbook way in a lot of cases.

For Hlookups, it is left to right then down rows
