Do tickets get refunded if the BYU game is cancelled?

Would be a scam if they keep ticket revenue and then avoid all the expenses of having the game...is that why they don't proactively reschedule game?

The game will be played in Houston or Baton Rouge

I just hope it's not too hot for you snowflakes

I really hope you are right Lakeview. This is the only game I'll be able to make all year but this is trivial BS for me to worry about considering what's going on out there.

WTF is wrong with people, this game won't be cancelled. Book it.

If the game is moved from Houston thru will refund your tickets, then would have to buy new tickets for the new venue. Wherever that would be

Would be pretty stupid to just outright cancel the game when both LSU and BYU home stadiums are open and ready just because Houston can't do it. I think those who think it'll be cancelled are shellshocked over the Florida crap last year.
I have no doubt it'll be played, just where is up in the air.

This game will not be cancelled.

I'm pretty bummed about the possibility of not getting to make that trip next weekend, but as long as I get to take in some LSU football next weekend (even if it's from the comforts of my own home) I'm satisfied.

Pretty much what I'm feeling too

As per ticket office: the game is still on. It is up to the NCAA as to what will as this is an intersectional match up. If canceled or moved, the ticket costs will be refunded. Unfortunately that won't be the case for Astro/Met Tickets the following day.

Not only do they not refund your ticket price, they proactively charge each fan a $20 concession fee for the concessions you would have bought.

Don't forget the 25 dollar parking fee

That's pretty much where I stand. I got some nice tickets for me and my son and I'm excited about this trip.
On the other hand, I'm extremely aware of what's going on over there and just hope for the best for those in the line of fire. And it seems selfish to be worried about my "fun trip" when right around the corner could be some devastation to people's lives.
That said, if it's moved at least I'll get that LSU game we all wait on the second the bowl game ends.

Well the game wont be in Houston. Htown is about to get rounds 2 .. 3 ... and 4 of Harvey rainfall.
Houston is just like New Orleans as far as flooding.

No, schools will decide. NCAA would make decision if this were the playoffs, but since the schools scheduled the game they will make the decision (along with local officials) to move/cancel or not.

This isn't a thing. What is a sectional in college football? Do you mean conference?
