Anyone know when these apples are back in season?

We used to get them by mail order from Honeycrisp.com
I think they will be in season in mid September.
In BR you can find them at Whole Foods and Fresh Market usually.

The local fruit farm(Ohio) offers U-Pick for Honeycrisp on September 8, 9, and 10.

Calandro's on Government carries them if they're available.

Pretty sure Costco keeps them in stock

I believe those are a U.S. grown apple. Most apple seasons are from about Sept thru Oct. You're probably a couple weeks from seeing them in stores.

You might find some now, but I would wait until they're in season late September to get the best tasting ones
Now the University of Minnesota (who made the honeycrisp) made a new crossbreed. A cross between a honeycrisp and a monarch called a "rave". A company in Washington has the rights to it so it won't be too widespread for a year or two. Supposed to be even better than a honeycrisp

They are a hybrid developed by the University of MN that will not grow true from seed. They are so weak they require trellises, and they are so susceptible to several diseases that they require lots of spraying and babying. Honeycrisps (patented and trademarked) don't grow in the wild.

Honeycrisp is the best, but don't sleep on pink lady.

I bought one today at the Rouses at Juban Crossing. They had plenty, but I grabbed one as a snack as I was driving to meet someone.
