The crazy part is they claim they want to start a discussion about injustices. Ok I can buy that, but who are you trying to get the attention of? Mainstream America right? The majority of the country right? Well guess most of America respects the flag and the national anthem and do not like it when you don't respect it. You not going to start a discussion and get respect of your opinion by doing something that will likely piss the people off that you want to get help from. All you are going to do is make them turn a deaf ear and ignore you.

No one gives a shite anymore. He's not disgracing LSU to anyone but you.
Find something that matters to get pissy about.

Bruh, there's a resurgence of naziism and you're getting your panties all bunched up about some guys kneeling during a song?
The strongest negative response anyone should have to this is indifference. If you burn even a single calorie thinking about it and being angry, then you are a gigantic, whining baby.

They are idiots and a disgrace. They are disrespectful, and have no appreciation for having more freedom than the rest of the world.

Very disappointed in him although I know he's a great kid.
It's absolutely his right to do it, and it's my right to disagree with his decision to do so.

Ah yes, a classic case of I disagree with someone's opinion so therefore they are an idiot.
You don't have to agree with them, but have you even tried to understand why they feel this way? Perhaps it's for attention or they are even the misinformed ones. I'm not arguing for them. My only point is that it isn't constructive to just call people idiots because they see something different than you.
We all have different experiences in life that shape our opinions.

Moral idiocy , stemming as it does from moral relativism, tends to spread quickly among the uninformed. What better advocates are there for ill- informed Progressivism than entertainers, actors and the ignorant public that worships them?
And if everything is now in fact "political" why not join in ? Why should any of us spare anybody of our deep thoughts? We should all be insufferably douchey in sharing our views on race, religion and politics wherever we go. The more historically ignorant, the louder our voices .
I don't know shite about " Climate Change" for instance - but Imma bout to bore the frick out of every captive audience I have with my version of it. Especially if you are going to compliment me on Muh Courage afterwards.

I agree, it's total bullshite. TM's making hundreds of thousands of dollars and has the audacity to make a political statement. If you or I did something like this in the workplace, we'd be looking for another job.
It may be his 1st amendment right, but it's my right also to call it bullshite. What a shame. Shut up and play football, leave the politics to those idiots in D.C.

Not very smart by Magee, considering that he's trying to actually make an NFL roster.
We've already seen how this affected Kaepernick, and he's a much more valuable player than Magee.

Oh wow that's just too dumb for me to respond. The resurgence of what .001% of the country huh? Yeah bud sure they are making a come back. Some of you people are so gullible it's insane. Media prints it and it's fact. Wow. I'll respectfully bow out now. Y'all have a great day.

Well, making money in the NFL won't stop him from getting shot down like a dog in the street. Ask Joe McKnight.
That's probably why he's kneeling. Who knows though. It seems lost on you.

The irony is they probably don't play the anthem when you clock in at work... I know they don't play it at my place of employment.
The ownership decided to link the NFL to politics and opened the doors for this possibility, not the players. They didn't always play the anthem so I guess they should stop then no one has to watch then kneel... I mean it worked in schools right? They don't pray anymore and everyone is still learning right?

The old rule of thumb is that you don't bring politics and religion into the workplace. The fans in the parking lots and stands aren't in the workplace. The players and coaches on the field are.
I'm going to go ahead and assume that my workplace and yours are a tad bit different than the NFL. If an NFL player wants a raise, he can stop showing up to work. That probably wouldn't work out too well for you or me.
If you want to get rid of politics from sports, that's fine. Let's stop playing the national anthem, no more flyovers or military salutes, no more presidents throwing out first pitches, etc. Just show up and play the game.
