The first time I'd seen the quadrants in college was in Mark Schafer's international politics class. It was the first time I'd ever spoken out in class, and I innocently criticized it as reductionist (didn't use that word). He was way way left of me, but we ended up being very close friends and he loved my work.

Great course. And my independent study w him was psych heavy. Mark, Wayne Parent and co were as close to a movie about college as I've seen, and I lived it. Bless LSU.
