Alabama A&M does, too.

There are "affirmative action" programs aimed at underrepresented classes - even white people

Not aware of any affirmative action contracting or 8A contracting specifically set aside for " white people".

Probably the closest minority contracting set aside for "white people" would be a disabled veteran classification. It's all a scam anyway and rarely helps out the people it's supposed to anyway.

Ya, I do the same. It's always hilarious when I get the "frick you a-hole" look in response.

And then every now and then I get the "thank you sir and bless you" and I lose my shite.

I can attest to this. Well, it wasn't A&M that awarded the scholarship, but I had a buddy in high school JROTC (white) who as awarded a minority scholarship to Alabama A&M. I think A&M did kick in additional money as well though to make sure all his expenses were covered.

I don't know about the actual testing, but I know if you're black and you're applying to law school, just being black gives you a "bump" and can get you into a school instead of a white kid who did better with you on standardized testing (LSAT) and GPA.

Ah OK. You don't really get a bump in your scores, being a minority can benefit your chance of admission (like extracurricular activities, only much more so).

And that's a fair point, particularly at public colleges.

But that has nothing to do with racial composition in Baton Rouge and everything to do with the demographics of the school in question which is how the OP framed this issue.

gave a black man $2 yesterday for "gas" (he didn't even wait for me to leave before going to cooler in the convenience store) and told him "see, not all us honky arse crackas are bad."

I had one once come up to me and straight up said "can you help me out I want to want buy a pint of whiskey". I gave him 5 bucks just for being honest

I hate when they give me a bullshite sob story. Just tell me what you want and I'll decide if I want to give you anything

Then maybe you get a better perspective of what it's like to be a minority.

Not being sarcastic. But blacks are responding to the same perception. So, with exception of overt BLM racism, perhaps it's educational.
