Just be glad it didn't have more time with the warm water out in the gulf.

It could've been a cat 5 if it had another day imo.

The death toll on this won't be the same but no doubt this surpasses that total.

I just worry that there are a lot of older folks that won't be able to get help.

Anyone know how the energy corridor is doing? Girlfriend just moved out there and is unsure how her apartment is.

This is the first time I literally can't think of any words to describe a situation. I'm pretty sure everyone has run out of words. There is nothing that could describe this.

I'm wondering what the differences are between the models taking it west and the ones taking it north.

I think the ones taking it west have the high pressure in the southwest pick it up and drive it west. The other models have the high pressure to our east pick it up and drive it more north.

The NWS is just throwing more adjectives at it. Catastrophic, life-threatening flooding turned in to epic, catastrophic, life-threatening flooding.
