CBS News looking pretty Nazi-ish right here

Btw, I'm pretty indifferent to abortion or at least don't pay much attention to it and things like this article can change that pretty quick.

Might get lots of flack for saying this, but it is my personal view that somebody with down syndrome can still enjoy the many of gifts that life offers, and that in most cases, such enjoyment outweighs the cost of never being born.

The ancient Spartans in Greece used to kill infants that exhibited any kind of birth defect. Those dudes were the first Nazi's.

Nor I - I am only opposed to very late term abortions and consider the aborting of a baby capable of surviving outside the womb to be nothing short of murder.
But - if detected early enough, what is wrong with abortion to avoid the consequence of known defects in the fetus?
I know that this is the start of the 'slippery slope' argument that results in 'designer babies' at the extreme end, but I would personally not want to sacrifice the future of my family in terms of financial commitments and lost opportunities if those could be avoided thru early detection of fetal defects.

Some ppeople wouldn't want a gay baby either.
This isn't even a slope, it is a cliff

That's one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen.

I thought it might be a joke, it's not...
"Olafsdottir responded, "We don't look at abortion as a murder. We look at it as a thing that we ended. We ended a possible life that may have had a huge complication... preventing suffering for the child and for the family. And I think that is more right than seeing it as a murder -- that's so black and white. Life isn't black and white. Life is grey."

Who are they to decide who gets to live or die based on a non-life-threatening imperfection?

Most lefties would have no problem with euthanasia as long as they got to pick the recipients.
Sick bunch of people.

Is CBS advocating for abortion because of downs or just reporting what is happening? From the posts here y'all are acting like they are popping champagne over it.

This Twitter headline disturbs me.
