Where do you Start your invasion of USA?

Where would you start at, and what would your game plan be for invading the USA?
Most would go after Washington DC and take the capital right? But our biggest allies would be able to get to us from the East easier. I would invade the west and hope to contain the Pacific enough to keep Japan at Bay. Hit the major airbases and sea ports on the west coast.

I'd start slowly moving my troops across the southern border into the southwestern states. Maybe even disguise them as civilians.

Well, except for the massive US military presence.
I'd want a large, sparsely populated area so I can gain a foothold. So, assuming it's possible, I'd probably come up through Mexico into AZ and NM, moving North until I split the country. Montana might work but it could be a shitfest if you get stuck there through winter.

San Diego, disable the Pacific fleet move in land, cut Mexico in on it and have them invade Texas at the same time.

I'd parachute a bunch of soldiers into a small town. Maybe start at a local high school. Take that place over and set up a prisoner compound. It'd work like a charm too as long as no kids form a vigilante army named Wolverines or something like that.

The northwest, someplace like San Francisco or Portland or Seattle. Like mentioned earlier, they'd welcome us with open arms.
