Sorry to hear that.

I disagree with McCain on many points politically and I honestly do not think he is a nice person, but I have tremendous respect for him and his amazing service to our country.

We will keep him and his in our prayers.

Yep. My dad battled the same type cancer back in '91-'93. Doctor at MDA said if he operated the only thing he could guarantee is that my dad would be wheelchair bound the rest of his life and probably not even know who he was. Our big decision was to put it in God's hands and let him decide my dad's fate. He passed away three days later at age 67.

If I were the McCains, I'd start saying my goodbyes and hope there is no suffering during the time he has left.

What is THEE best hospital in America? Where he was at, the Mayo Clinic? Cleveland Clinic? Duke? Or does it depend on what is the matter with person to person?

Aiding the enemy because he was an incapable pilot piggybacking off his father qualifies him as a hero?
He apparently caused a ships fire showboating, and did not follow SOP orders flying and crashed, supposedly...those that served with him have said. That being said, he paid the price in POW camp and served his country in the U.S. Navy. (This much credit someone with common sense gives him--but the democrats never did when it was politically expedient to despise him--before Trump)

The democrats despised him before Trump and we all know why they are faking sympathy now. They love NeverTrumpers that send aide's to get the pee dossiere'. Politically he is a POS like the rest but probably on the caliber of a democrat. He has a slush fund foundation to launder slush funds very much like HRC's.

I hope he recovers and retires in peace...

You're a real piece of shite. I'm not a big fan of McCain but you people trashing him as a POW really have a screw loose.

Nobody should be a Senator for 30 years. If you are that means you probably couldn't cut it in the private sector. McCain is the epitome of everything wrong with our political system.

Agreed. And with that being said...it is ironic that McCain Feingold was suppose to be for term limits, no?

When I'm at home saying shite like this, my wife has this thing where she mimics the The Dr. Evil theme (dum dum dum) and follows it up with "aaasssspeeeergerrrs".

So if we could figure out how to make normal cells immortal and functional , we could live very long life spans.

Yea, it basically has roots that goes deep into the brain making it hard if not impossible to remove. This really sucks gang. McCain is a genuine American hero and patriot. I think we were all taken back by his questions in committee and statements. Obviously this cancer has had some impact on his cognitive ability. Sounds like a death sentence.

I describe a Glio as looking like a jelly fish (or a squid). It has that head portion but its tentacles run through huge portions of the brain.

My sister's glio runs through of the main arteries in her brain. She's a walking miracle though. It's been almost 7 years and she's still with us. Two surgeries plus very aggressive treatment have helped and they consider her inremission. Unfortunately, whenever this fricker starts growing again it will be brutal.

She is not as sharp as she once was but she's so grateful that it is contagious.
