planning to make the trip to Houston and the wife has free nights at Hyatt.

Anyone stay at the Hyatt near the Galleria?

Any other suggestions for Hyatt hotels in the area.

Don't waste your free Hyatt nights in Houston. Hotels are cheap there already.

Galleria and downtown area are fine. Just don't stay at any hotels near NRG as best ones are probably booked. Just not a good area.

The Hyatt downtown is a great option.

It'll be a fine hotel but in the Galleria area you will have to either drive or take Uber/Lyft/Taxi to the game. If you stay at Hyatt Regency Downtown, you would have the Metrorail as an option.

When you say free nights, do you mean tier 4 annual renewal free nights or tier 6 intro free nights?

For the Wisky game we had planned to take the train rail in to the stadium but that bitch was packed right before the game. Ended up just ubering it.

Does your wife work for Hyatt? Mine does, and she gets 12 free nights per year. We're staying here, not because it's necessarily close, but because my wife says its a great property she's always wanted to visit.

The free nights are nice, we're going to Europe in two weeks, and are staying free the first seven nights.

We stayed @ downtown Hyatt-I love Houston's skyline & the Hyatt is a great place to see it. There's also an entrance into the downtown tunnel, although most of it closes Friday afternoon for the weekend. Shula's Steak House is in the lobby & Spindletop restaurant on the top floor.

We took the Metro to the Wisconsin game, but I would never do it again. They were totally unprepared for the crowds.

Anyone heard of Hotel Ylem? Looks like a good price and about a mile from the stadium.
