you do realize bama is on an unprecedented run in cfb, right?
if it's so easy to get to the level Bama is then why hasn't ohio state reached that level? they have a more successful program than lsu and they have the 2nd best coach in cfb.

You're not going to see rickdaddy arguing with someone who says, "Miles was declining, and it was time to replace him." He WILL argue with someone who says, "Miles was one of the worst coaches in college football." And he would be correct.

exactly.
another one I refute is that a coach could luck into one of the most accomplished tenures in sec history during the most dominant era of sec football ever.

Both us and Gators will not have a great QB next year. At least DE is seasoned. Gators will only go as far as the defense takes em, and they are reloading. They will be good but not sure if as good as last year.

Hopefully, CEO keeps the guys focused on assignments and not the hype this time, if so i like our chances.

I agree with you for the most part. Florida won because we were too hyped and wanted to blow them out instead of focusing on assignments and getting the W.

Maybe but it reaches the point of ad nauseum...and he sounds bitter doing it..

bitter? how can you determine bitter on a post?

as if trying to convince people we made a mistake by firing his underperforming arse...

I wanted him fired after the 2015 season.
at no point have I denied it was time for miles to go.

The fact that he cares THAT MUCH what people think about Miles on a random internet board reflects an unhealthy obsession.

you act like youre not the exact opposite of the coin.
quote:

but he left a lot on the table and the program isn't nearly as decorated over the last 15 years as it could have been given the talent that came thru there. That's why many fans won't remember him fondly.

ive repeatedly said a better x and o coavh wouldve done better but youre acting like its a fact that that coach could bring in the talent Miles did.

quote:

es at times, especially the last few years....will be his legacy

the only people that see that thats miles' legacy is lsu poster that hate him.
any unbiased person sees miles' legacy as one of the most accomplished tenures in sec history tenures in sec history.
Hell miles had the same amount of top 10 finishes as the previous 40 seasons combined.
quote:

The fact that he had to be fired speaks volumes about his decline as a coach.

are you joking? 90% of coaches get fired or they resign so it won't look like he was forced out.

Bill Belichik and Pete Carroll have both been fired. who knew they sucked as coaches.

Ensminger only tweaked the offense a little bit and their offensive production took off.

running the ball.
we ran for 418, 390, and 320

t has nothing to do with Alabama's depth like rickdaddy is saying as Bama can only get so many damn players on the field anyways.

the talent gap between Bama's 1st and 2nd team is far smaller than Lsu's gap.

Why shouldn't they be expected to do even better?

who said don't expect better?

I said don't expect to go on a bama type run because you'll be very disappointed.

it was. once again proving you don't know shite.

there is a vast gap between knowing it time for a change and acting as if mikes tenure wasnt great or that he was the worst coach ever.

was arky's ole miss' and Missouri's defense suddenly going to get better?

We can't know 100% that Florida won't have an efficient QB. And yes we outplayed them I think our red zone play calling really hurt us. We threw 2 passes in there one was a TD that was incorrectly reversed but we still got in and the other was a sack. I think if theydve let Etling throw it more inside the red zone we add at least another TD.

Idiotic attitude to have

Fans and their money run college sports. People that spend their hard earned money to keep this program going don't have to keep quiet when they believe it's headed in the wrong direction.

I assume you think citizens should shut it and let the politicians do as they please as well?

Rick saying O only beat bad teams to shite on him and delegitimize what he did is totally unfair. Nobody is shitting on what Guice did last year but he avged 45.5 ypg and 4.3 ypc in those 2 games. And I've never heard you knock Les Miles for having a cupcake division his first 5 seasons at LSU. His SEC west opponents won a whopping 46% of their games from 05 to 09. The worst 5 year span for the SEC West in the divisions history just happened to be Miles best 5 year stretch in his tenure yet I've never heard you knock him for that. Nobody is saying coach O is the GOAT or an elite coach but the portion of the fan base you side with is unfairly bashing him like no first year coach has ever been bashed at LSU before.

cool. in Saban's 1st 4 years he never faced a west opponent that finished top 10. in his 1st 3 years at lsu Saban faced 1 west program with less than 4 losses. but yeah it's was just as strong as the time we had 6 west programs finish top 10.
