In a plant that already has some of the highest wages in the state, working indoors in air conditioning, with a 401(k), health insurance, vacation, etc.
What the hell is the union going to do other than take dues money?

Better wages does not always equal better take-home.

Only if you're a low achiever. If you have initiative, unions suck the life out of your job and block advancement
