Spears: Guice has more dimensions to his game, but Leonard was done a disservice by LSU. He was good enough to be a superstar in that offense, but my God if he could have been in a creative offense. If he could have gotten the ball more in the open field, he would have broken so many records. Leonard had to create a lot of his runs. It was phenomenal to watch.

les miles should be ashamed of himself.

our OL created some massive holes for LF to run through. no mention of that. My opinion of Spears has dropped a lot for even bringing this garbage up.

But he did break records, and got drafted 4th overall... how is that a disservice?

Yeah Les Miles really hurt Fournette's bank account with his gameplan. And yeah, be broke a lot of records too

He is completely right. Fournette was a once in a generation type talent, if he played in a offense with a functional passing game, he would have broken several records.

Marcus Marcus Marcus. Shut the hell up and think of something else to say. He was hurt his whole junior year. He was still the 4th overall pick. I bet Fournette is happy with how it all turned out.

No argument here. People forget he was actually a pretty damn good receiver. God, the things we could have done with a talent like that.

If Spears is going to come out and say something controversial like that, he should be a man and say exactly what he's getting at (that Fournette was done a disservice by Les Miles and his lack of offensive creativity, not the actual LSU football program) and not just trash LSU in general.

I'm kind of splitting hairs but I think it's a bad look to speak out about something like that while we're trying to recruit top notch running backs and leave it at "LSU did Fournette a disservice" instead of being real about it and talking about Miles and Cam directly.

An NFL team would kill to have Jeremy Hill, OBJ, and Jarvis Landry on their team.

Remember that one time we ran essentially a fly route with him down the middle of field and he went up and got it. Yea that literally was never run again

I'm happy Spears is bring the heat. Is is such a shame that Miles didn't change at all - such a crock of shite.

When Miles is looked upon a great LSU ambassador during his time, in general - yes, but when you look deeper the question really is, "Where would LSU be if Miles wasn't here?"

Marcus Spears needs to get Saban's dick out of his mouth and stop going out of his way to bash LSU.

I think it's more correct to say that Fournette's teammates were done a disservice by LSU. LF holds the single season rushing record at LSU and was picked 4th in the NFL draft. I don't know if there was any real disservice done to Fournette. However, LSU as a whole suffered because of Les's flat out refusal to run anything but a highly predictable and simplistic offense

If we didn't have a buffoon stuck in the year 1982 as his coach he would've been an all time SEC Great
