I used to eat at the one in Morgan City in the early 90's, all you can eat and it was $5.25 including a large drink.

Cajun's Buffet near Cortana Mall ftw!
Unfortunately when someone was murdered in there it ruined it for everyone else. I believe it's the building where Ronnies is located now. Close to where the Broadmoor theater was.

There's still a Cajun's in Biloxi, isn't there? Also there's a Hartz chicken buffet in Ocean Springs that isn't bad

Same. When I played football in the Kennahbrah Rec Dept, we would have Saturday games and used to go eat there after.
Also, there was a Super Popeyes with a buffet with other stuff on it as well, on Veterans near Clearly. Back when Metry had two parades each Sunday during Mardi Gras, we used to go there between the parades to eat. Eventually, I guess the management wised up and decided to not do the buffet during Mardi Gras, then they got rid of it all together, them they eventually shut down the location.
I hardly eat Popeyes anymore. The prices are out of control, and while the food is still awesome, the service most certainly is not.

How many pieces can y'all eat on the buffet?
I use to get a 4 piece mix with a large mashed potatoes and two biscuits

Same here. Prices are absurd. And the onion rings suck now. They used to be glorious. Now they're like Burger King's.
I thought Chalmette still had a Popeyes buffet.

No tenders on buffet. My daughter wanted to road trip till she heard this.

But no, not in Chalmette however. I wish...

Nope. You would think that since St. Bernard was where it all began, we would. But we have the same crappy new look menu changes every damn week Popeyes that every other place has.

Welcome to 20 years ago. In the interest of making money, you can't make 500 biscuits a day "in house"

Me and padnas would hit up the Popeyes buffet on the regular back in the late 90s when we were all living in Lafayette. For $7 you could eat like a king.

I can only imagine the shite I would take after eating at a Popeyes buffet.
All Popeyes should be buffets so they can't inevitably f*** up your order.
Also, for those saying their prices are ridiculous, are the Popeyes in New Orleans just cheaper or do y'all want them to have 1980s prices still? I get a 4-piece with a side and a biscuit for $6.99 ($7.99 with a drink). I find that to be reasonable and usually have a piece left for the next day if I get white meat with the gigantic breast). If it's lunch and I'm a work, I go with the 2-piece combo which is cheaper.

That was my go to spot back in the day. Loaded up on the spicy breasts, mashed potatoes and red beans.
Is the Pizza Hut on Vets near Cleary still a buffet? I wrecked that one a few times as well.
ETA: I doubt that anyone remembers it but there used to be a Logan Farms on Veterans by Cleary (the same shopping center as the old Pancho's) that had an insanely good lunch buffet. I guess that they bailed after Katrina because I never saw it whenever I'd go back home to visit.

I fricking love Popeyes, but every time I go through the drive through it takes 20 minutes at least and the lobby is always closed at random arse times.
And I'm talking the Popeyes mainly off of Ross here in Dallas.

I bet livers at Popeye's would be good.

We got a Gus's a while ago. Now, all other chicken places taste crappy. Gus's is the GOAT.
