I'm trying to understand the angle of some of the recent prominent politicians in LA. Bobby/Mitch, WTF did you do so well to make you think you can lead a Country? Is being terrible now a qualification for a Presidential run?

The real headscratcher: Why didn't they do the job they were elected to do? Instead of running for President, put some accomplishments on your resume and use those to make a case to the voters.

I thought during the election there couldn't be a candidate on Earth more unlikable than Hillary but damn if the left didn't find him

They get toasted by the national party elites and it goes to their head. Meanwhile, NOLA and Louisiana are considered complete jokes around the country in terms of politics. Thanks Huey P!

Carville sees Mitch as his chance to be relevant again, so he's going to pitch him wherever and whenever he can.

Has he done anything since those statues came down?
not one fricking thing
Well, in his defense you'd have to admit he didn't do a damn thing before they came down either.

I told you guys in another thread, that progressives are hailing him.
One i know, claimed Mitch took on the Southern racists, and brought people of color together. Took down the old Southern image, and brought unity to NO.
I laugh, but these fools around the country are eating him up. Him taking down the statues was a great ploy by his people. They knew this could springboard him into higher positions in Democratic party, especially with progressives taking over parts of it.

maybe some like what he did, but Mitch Landrieu is the only person who believes Mitch Landrieu can be relevant three years after his term as mayor ends...

He's on NPR, meeting Katie Couric, his team is doing their home work. He's meeting the right people. And this tour will continue. Since he hasn't done anything while Mayor, and he;s a lame duck, he's doing his work, on NO tax payers dime.
His people are smart, they are laying the ground work for him. And he's eating it up, and the Progressives are eating him up.
For christs sake, the progressives thought lunatic Bernie was a great candidate.

I'd love to see him in a debate or a town hall. Imagine if he actually ran, people would pull the skeletons out his closet and hand them to his opponents. He made too many enemies in this city.

Mitch Landrieu truly is one of the most morally disgusting human beings in America. It's so utterly revolting how nakedly shameless he is in his pursuit for his next gig of higher office while his constituents are killing, beating and robbing each other.
He'll fit right in as the next DNC nominee after Crooked Hillary.

His 15 minutes will be up before long.
Plus he's a fat arse.

I was in Chicago a few weeks back and talked to an older couple from Michigan they were praising him for taking down the statues. I never thought that this news would make it that far. No way he is a legitimate presidency candidate but he surly is a shoe in for a pretty kush job in DC when his term is over. I can imagine it's hard to find someone north of the mason Dixon line that is upset over these monuments like most of you are.

Take your asinine and negative behavior and turn it into something constructive. That's no way to live.
