How Many Here Carry a Handgun? - Car or Home or Refuse Owning

If discussed I did a search but couldn't find anything. My wife was terrified of handguns in the house until Katrina, when she actually asked me to get one (I had 3 rifles locked away). I've enjoyed owning quite a few since but keep only 100-500 rounds for each variety. I think one of our best deterrents for crimes like home invasions is the fact most know that many home owners here are armed to the teeth.
I'm very curious to know how many here own and if you prefer to carry, keep in the car. at home, or how many of you decline owning guns for children, safety, or whatever the reason is. Do you register or buy face to face from Bayoushooter.com, etc.? How many of you teach all family members gun safety, proper handling, and respect for the dangers? ...and last, how many of you are armed beyond the minimum to deter a single incident at home?

Wife and I both have C & C
Wife and I both keep a handgun in our vehicles.
There is a secured handgun in my home.
Hunting rifles are in locked/hidden gun safe.
Everyone in my home has taken a safety class or more. Proficient in gun safety.
All guns purchased from reputable gun dealers.
My home is very secure. I'm the corner lot at the entrance to our community, so I have every lighting advantage outside including my own. Wrought iron doors locked in front of heavy wood doors. Security system in in place. 1 handgun at my ready is plenty.

A shotgun is by far the best weapon a person can have against home invasion.
You do not need a pistol or high powered rifle for that.
Whatever shotgun you use for hunting is perfectly fine

I keep guns in my house but that's it.
I went through the concealed carry class but never got my license for some reason.
I feel like the time I need it most is when I'm out partying in New Orleans. Not really smart, or legal to carry while drinking so I never carry.

I have a Glock 19 with two clips near my persons most of the time.
