I like silver queen as my #1, but agree it's ridiculously silky. It's worth it to me though.
G90 is excellent as well.
Merrit silks very easily, but it's not the same caliber of corn as the first 2. I cut 300 ears of Merrit off the cobb a few weeks ago, and gave it all away. I don't give away silver queen or G90.
