You'd think a massive publication like the NYT would have at least one person on staff that could recognize hyperbole and facetiousness. All of those statements were off the cuff comments that anyone with more than two brain cells would know how to take them - it's not like he was quoting the 14th digit of pi, he was making a point, a point which these people obviously missed.

Trump never lies because he believes what he says in the moment. He is wrong constantly and much of it is complete BS, but he doesn't think he's lying.
He's just full of it and makes stuff up and then expects reality to fit his statement.
He's a politician, like the rest. For the NYTimes to call him out and never have done this for Obama or Clinton exposes them. No one cares about the truth. People only care about their agenda and their side "winning." The sooner we realize that, the more we will understand the situation we're in.

One of the greatest things about Trumps candidacy was that he exposed the liberal MSM for what it is - liberal. If you never lose sight of what they are then articles such as this will always be meaningless.

Their underlying premise is that being wrong = being deceitful or deliberately misrepresenting facts. The left pulled the same shite with the Iraq WMDs: "Bush Lied. People Died." Nevermind the fact that we had tons of intel, photos, etc. of rockets, gas canisters, etc. By the time we had to play the UN's game of ring around the rosey, Saddam had moved everything into Syria.

I cannot stand the guy. Wish there was another option other than him in 2016. But there wasn't. Don't need the NYT to lecture me on how flawed he is. But he is still not HRC. And I would vote for him again given the same circumstances.
