I know there are bad ones, but there are good ones as well.
Chapter 1.

This is how all of the stories start.

I bet the perpetrator in OP's story trusted his pit right up until the point it mauled his neighbor's children to near death.

I see a pit bull running, my first instinct is going to be to shoot, and you won't find a court in the land that would blame me.

Don't care that John Wick had a sweet one.

That's reason enough for me not to watch the movie. I did see the first one. WTF is the malfunction with this franchise's use of dogs?

Don't take this the wrong way, but if anything ever happens, I hope you're prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for putting the kids in that position. You're the adult, it's your job to have brains enough to understand the risk.

My then 15 year old son brought home a rescue pit about 3 years ago. I told him immediately to take that mut back to the pound he got him from since I have seen pits do some savage things to hogs on hog hunts. However, he begged to keep him and I broke down and let him keep him but there is no way I would trust him with any family member without me or my son being present and my 10 year old daughter is forbidden for being alone with him although he has never shown an ounce of aggression to anybody other than the neighbors yard crew and the Centerpoint man that tries to come read my electric meter.

Never seen a bigger group of sandy vaginas who are scared of dogs quite like the OT.

I 100% disagree with you. I wouldn't even allow my lazy, gentle, little beagle mutt around kids unsupervised! Are you nuts?
Let's use common sense. All dogs can bite, pit bulls are simply more capable of killing and maiming.

I don't know anyone that has a pit, but if I did we would never visit them.

Their faces are also amongst the fugliest of all dogs. I don't get the appeal.

I'd support legislation charging the owner of a pit that killed a child with 2nd degree murder.

It's no different than leaving a loaded 9 mm in an infant's crib.

Well then at l way you and your son will be present in the event that it decides attack. That is pretty messed up that the thought of saving someone from your dog has to come into play. To me, that's like having a plan in case there are issues with the "reformed" terrorist you brought in to your home.

Ours is strictly an outside free roaming the whole backyard dog. Makes for awesome security cause the only way you are getting to my backdoor is through him. Even then, if I have guests, he goes in the kennel with my Lab. They get along good.

but, but what if it decides to go crazy and kill your other dog?!?!?!?!

Would you leave a loaded gun in the kennel with your lab? Well, would you?

This is my response based on some of the logic in this thread.

Then your logic is non-existent.
