Nice to get national seeds but if you can't get past 2 wins you aren't going to even have a shot at winning a title.
Tomorrow's opponent probably agrees with you but I doubt if they have any intention of firing their coach.

I've been telling people this all day, and remind them of the stats of the pitcher LSU faced last night. Why do we not have a solid bullpen and why couldn't we hit their pitcher? All teams face this kind of adversity, and Oregon capitalized on our deficiencies last night. They're a solid team, but can be beat.

Well it's fsu and they choke in Omaha. Have 22 appearances and no titles. We have 18 and 6 titles. But since 09 haven't been exactly clutch in the postseason.

PM will never win another National Championship
Nothing like sweeping absolute statements calling out coaches or players after a single loss following a historical win streak. It's win win for you too because you'll be nowhere to be found if/when you're proven wrong.
Nonetheless, if he doesn't ever win another, he'll go down with more Chips than you ever contributed to this University. Insufferable prick

Of course not! It he were really a good coach, he would have made certain that Oregon State lost to someone in its regional so as not be here and beat us by 12 runs. Very sorry coaching that is. It's his responsibility to make sure that our opponents are all cupcakes.

LSU is having a very good year.
Oregon State is having an elite year.
I think Clemson went to the CWS one year with just 9 losses. LSU did too iirc.
200 college baseball teams. Only one CWS winner.
Tigers will still finish top 6 in nation regardless of Wednesday nights game against FSU.
Next year might be a rebuilding year-that's the only thing that sucks.
Gotta give Mainieri an A- for the season.

CPM has done well over his tenure and this season for sure.
We'll have a competitive team in 2018 and we'll be competitive in the SEC and nationally as long as CPM is at LSU. When he retires in 5-6 years, we'll need to be very careful who we hire.

Exactly right. CPM may have his faults, but we are a stable, upper tier program. See Alabama after Jim Wells...

Yeah I am good with that SEC regular season and tournament champs and 2-2 or better in CWS

Paul Manieri worse than Curly Hallman? Either you are a raving idiot or you are a troll trying to get a reaction!
I will say you are an idiot. Paul Manieri is SJ excellent coach. Go back to your sports bar and dream about what you never accomplished on the playing field.

Well, 33inNC... Manieri's seat needs to be hot? Ridiculous!! Only an idiot would allow such after a coach leads his team to an SEC West Tilte, an SEC Title, Regional and Super Regional Tities and an appearance in the College Workd Series for the 5th time during his tenure and his team has won a game and they are still in it!
You may say that LSU should make the CWS every year, but it is not easy. Look at Texas. It is competitive! You probably wouldn't have understood because you probably never played the game.
Typical Sports Bar hero thinking.

For goodness sake, CPM hot this team on a roll down the stretch, won the SEC Regular Season AND SEC Tournament Championships, then swept through Regionals and Super Regionals.
We won Game 1 in Omaha and got beat by the season-long #1 team, on a night when things just didn't go LSU's way.
Lay off... CPM has LSU in position to make a run virtually every year.
The days of simply "out working" everyone else are gone, it's a much more competitive game now than it was in the '90s.
Give it a rest and enjoy the success LSU has year in and year out.
