I'd have to dig a lot deeper to have an opinion on this. If she was manipulating him, actively encouraging suicide for her own gain I understand it. If he was just a whiny asshat who constantly threatened but didn't ever go through with it, and she was just saying damn if you're gonna do it do it to get him to shut up, I wouldn't be a fan.

So when I'm told to go jump off a bridge I can press charges?

He also "attempted" suicide several times, and each time chose not to go through with it. Just like the judge said, he also did thorough research on ways to kill himself. All this without the girls help, or encouragement. So while she is guilty of something, let's not make it out like she was manipulating a weak minded individual just looking for attention. The guy wanted to die, but was too scared up until the time he actually did it.

Carter: "Conrad. I told you I'll take care of them. Everyone will take care of them to make sure they won't be alone and people will help them get thru it. We talked about this, they will be okay and accept it. People who commit suicide don't think this much and they just do it"

No I don't think so. But anything can be blurred by anyone with a descending opinion. All it takes is for one person to not agree with a terminal patients will to die before they are in severe decline.

She manipulated the guy into killing himself and was in a position to prevent or encourage the death. In a way the idea isn't too dissimilar to what happened with Charles Manson. He just used words too and didn't physically do anything. Just an FYI that was almost 50 years ago.
