Let's follow the timeline:
1) Trump fires Comey.
2) Rosenstein appoints Mueller special counsel.
3) Everyone, Republicans, Democrats, thoughtful people, Trump supporters and associates, praise Mueller's experience and integrity.
4) Reports emerge that that Mueller is assembling a dream team of capable prosecutors, constitutional lawyers etc. Many interpret this to mean that Mueller is on to something
5) Suddenly Team Trump begins to float the idea of firing Mueller
6) FOX News, Sean Hannity, Trump's News Max pal Ruddy, and therefore the sheep on this board begin to attack Mueller
7) WAPO reports that Mueller is investigating Trump for obstruction. The sources are either witnesses and their lawyers OR Mueller himself telling Trumps and their sheep, if you think you're going to intimidate me--go frick yourselves--we gonna get you, sucka

Robert Meuller ran the FBI during a period in which investigations into elected officials were repeatedly delayed and circumvented until after those under investigation were term limited out of office. These investigations were kept secret from the public, but held over the heads of the elected officials until they were out of office when the charges were made public. Then, their criminal charges were converted to civil suits to avoid jail time in favor of fines which were never collected. Even if Meuller was getting interfered with by DOJ, he never once spoke out about the process.

Nothing against Mueller personally, I hate the idea of Independent Counsels. They have little to no accountability, they tend to go off on fishing expeditions and routinely exceed the mandate that was given to them.....and for some reason we treat them generally as some sort of annointed do-gooders who can do no wrong....unless of course it's Ken Starr (I do not like him) investigating a Democrat. I hated Leon Silverman for what he did to Raymond Donovan in the 80's.
