My bedroom TV randomly turns itself on in middle of the night sometimes...

Mine will flash suddenly if it was on earlier and has been turned off. Freaks me out, I think its the debil.

ps - I have wireless directv box so it's probably getting a signal from neighbor or something else in the house.

my daughter has an older vizio and it does the same thing. creepy when she's at a friend's house for the night and i see light under her door and open it and the tv is going.

You have the wake up option set to on. Turn it off

My stereo amp/tuner does the same thing. For a while I thought one of the dogs was bumping it with their legs and hitting the push button...but then I watched it one day and it turned on and the dogs were outside.
I'm clueless on mine too.

1. Check the batteries in the remote. Low batteries can sometimes cause this.
