Look, I'm no Trump supporter, but this is the epitome of fake news.
Click bait.
No where in this article does it state that Trumps lawyer won't rule out firing Mueller.
It just pumps out some garbage.
We're in a bad place folks, and I hate Trump and most of the GOP.

I hate Trump, hate the GOP, and have a degree in journalism...
and starting with last year's election until now, this is going to be the death of the mainstream media. They have been absolutely abysmal the last 18 months

It's not fake news. It's a direct quote. His lawyer is simply saying he has the power to do it and will not rule out that he might.
It would be the dumbest in a long line of dumb stuff Trump has done since taking office which means there's a decent chance he'll do it. His agenda would be completely dead from that point forward if he does though because his public support would sink to even more historic lows.
quote:
One of President Trump's lawyers didn't rule out that Mr. Trump could fire Robert Mueller, the special counsel appointed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to oversee the FBI's investigation into Russian election meddling and any ties between Russia and the Trump campaign.
"Look, the president of the United States, as we all know, is a unitary executive," Jay Sekulow, a member of Mr. Trump's legal team, said Sunday on ABC's "This Week." "But the president is going to seek the advice of his counsel and inside the government as well as outside. And I'm not going to speculate on what he will or will not do."

C'mon man, I'm on your side here, but this is just nonsense.
Creating a headline out of that quote is a massive stretch for legitimate journalism.

You may as well claim he won't rule out turning the US into a communist state.

David Rhodes, the President of CBS News, guess who's brother?
Thats right, the unqualified, Masters of Creative Writing holding, former Deputy Natl Security Adviser to Susan Rice, Ben Rhodes.
Shocking

Dear diary,
Today I was a giant fricking moron and criticized trump for something he didn't do, never said he would do, or even suggested he would do because I wanted to shite post so bad.

Do it. He's not the same ole poli we've had and I like that he doesn't give a shite what the insiders/media think. Who gives a frick about "public opinion" ? It's all slanted the media and the only fools who fall for it are the dumbass GOPe. Fire his arse, frick everyone who cries, and move forward dismantling Barry and the bolsheviks bullshite done over the last 8 years.

Oh, I absolutely hope Trump fires Mueller.
He'd have no recourse going forward.
However, this article is pure bullshite. He might be stupid enough to do it, but I'm just pointing out that we are all eating a giant shite sandwich when it comes to the media.
This is CBS News, not some bullshite off brand site.
Learn to read the substance going forward. We're all being presented bullshite, and it's up to all of us to smell it and call it what it is.

Everyone that depends on votes to keep their job, so everyone in Washington that Trump would need to help him push an agenda.

I bet you listen to Rush and Hannity to find out your political opinions.

If he does he's a lame duck until he's done in 2020. Simple as that.

Easy, Hoss.
Trump's already fired an FBI director and a deputy AG (Comey, Yates) investigating Mike Flynn's improper conduct.
Is it so outlandish to think he'd consider firing a 3rd person who persisted at this?

So since we get to kick around "not so outlandish" hypotheticals, let's discuss Bill's post presidential rape game.
See how dumb that sounds? It's bad enough we have to listen to libs bitch about their Russian spy fantasies all day. Is it too much to ask that we not entertain a bit of obvious fake news, or is the trump bait too shiny to resist?

WRONG, but it shows me you're a typical lemming led to lap at the pool of "public opinion" thrown at you by the media. I'm sure the sorry arse GOP would kowtow to the media b/c they can't fight like the democrats. I have to give it to them, they circle the wagons and forge ahead non stop. The GOP will cave in the face of the first sign of adversity.

New Sheriff in town who doesn't play by the same rules as the rest of the ruling class. You may have a point though b/c the GOP are worthless cowards and rather have the MSM give them lip service than do what their constituents want.

Sure it's a hypothetical. This is the poli board, after all. If the president's lawyer answers this question, it's bound to create hypothetical conversations like this. A savvier answer would have been to what you did (with less cursing and scorn, lol) and dismiss the question as silly. But I'm sure it won't be long before someone digs up Clinton rape threads around here.

Yeah, about that...

President Trump was considering former FBI Director Robert Mueller to replace James Comey atop the bureau before Mueller was named as special counsel to oversee the investigation into Russian election interference, NPR reported Friday.
