Magic hit that shot over three hall of famers, in the Boston Garden, in the NBA Finals, against their biggest rivals

Not arguing the bigger moment when the shot happened. I am discussing which player defined the generation. It was Jordan more so than Magic. What shot is shown more? Which player is featured more? It sure is not Magic.

When people think of the 80s, who do you think they think of?

Good grief this is a ridiculous argument. Bird/Magic defined the 80's along with the emergence of Michael Jordan as a transcendent individual talent that would redefine greatness in the years to come.

I really don't understand the incessant need for nuh unh... this guy's deal was better and more important.

Magic---all time great
Bird--- all time great
Jordan--- all time great.

None of these guys would be left off a roster of the all NBA, all time team.

Magic and Bird defined the 80's

Jordan defined the 90's

Are you really arguing otherwise?
