I really like Evan Fournier he would be my number target whether we keep Jrue or not. I think his game compliments the two bigs perfectly. Evan can handle playmaking the duties and gives much needed shooting. I don't think the magic will trade him though

The Magic aren't winning anytime soon, so I'm willing to be with a new GM they are looking to re-bolster the roster. Also not sure if Fournier's is the type of player Vogel wants.

yea I could see that. I really think Fournier is one the most underrated players in the league and is getting better every year. He would be great next to AD and DC

Assuming we sign both Holidays and James Young (to a minimum type deal), we will need to add one more player (by trade) to solidify ourselves as a playoff team. We have some ammunition to work with: 2018 first, Moore (he and Justin Holiday are redundant), Ajinca, Pondexter's expiring, about 5.5 million in trade exceptions, and Asik (of course).
I am confident, we have enough to offer in a trade. Leaving Bledsoe and Rubio out of the conversation (we have beat that same drum over and over), there are some interesting names that could be available. Some players that would fit:
MKG- with Charlotte drafting Monk, it seems either him or Batum would be the odd man out. I don't really like his fit on this team with already having Solo.
Bazemore- I think he would be a good fit. Atlanta seems to be in a rebuild, trading Howard and likely losing Millsap.
Fournier- Great fit, would add needed size and offense on the wing.
DeRozan- One can wish. If Lowry doesn't re-sign, maybe they rebuild. Very unlikely.
Dellavedova- Bucks are nearing the cap and looking to shed salary. Giving Delly Frazier's minutes would drastically improve this team.
TJ Warren- Maybe the Suns see Josh Jackson as a better fit next to Booker. We likely would have to accept a bad contract (Knight) to get him.
This is a legit playoff team:
PG- Holiday/ Cooke
SG- Bazemore/ Crawford/ Jackson
SF- Hill/ Holiday/ Young
PF- Davis/ Diallo
C- Cousins/ Ajinca/ Asik
I listed Boogie at C since Gentry referred to him as one. The trade I incorporated was Moore, Pondexter's expiring, and 2018 first for Bazemore.

That is way too much for Bazemore. He's basically not that much better than Moore but makes twice as much. He's a guy they paid to go from fringe starter to decent starter and he didn't. I would trade some combination of Asik/Ajinca/QPon and 2nds for him, but not Moore or a 1st.
Bledsoe, Fournier and Beverly should be the guys they go after with our 1st.

Birdwrites argues for trading for Patrick Beverly
not sure if that would work, or if hes even worth giving up another 1st round pick

His contract ($10M over 2 yrs w/ TO next season) is VERY attractive. He has become a good perimeter shooter and a lock down defender. He is not a scorer so I don't know what his value would be. Giving up another first for a limited player is tough for me. At some point very soon we need to start getting/developing cheap depth for the Boogie Max - AD supermax.

Ideally, we should be able to pencil in 35 ppg avg between our starting guard tandem. We need another guard who can avg 17 ppg. If we pair Holiday with Rubio, Rondo, or Beverley, I don't think we have enough scoring from the guard positions to keep defenses honest. We need an aggressive guard on offense.
