They could program a CONCACAF tournament just with MLS and Liga MX teams in it.
But in that case, it’d be more fun to play with MX because it would have that and the Libertadores.
I doubt an AFC Champions League would get a ton of play, either.

I don't think that really matters. I don't think a small competition is going to take much time to code nor will it take up much room on the disc.

But it wouldn't take much resources. Hell, jis t the the code for the US Open, copy it, rename it, take the top 8 MLS and Liga MX teams from the previous season. Boom. You've recreated CCL.

only if it was that simple
but it isn't
that and why created tournaments that a vast majority of players will not play. Its smarter to allocate resources to parts of the game that the consumer base will actually use.

Yeah, it wouldn't be hard to code. I think the issue is that there hasn't been enough calls for it, so EA isn't inspired to change anything.

Cool that it's free but with us missing the WC I would've liked them to have way more teams and let you qualify with teams that didn't make it lol.
Also interested to maybe play some WC FUT mode even though I'm still not really interested in FUT after taking a two month break from it.
