I hate that teams now wait until we take the field before they take the field. They used to come on and get tiger baited and booed before we came onto the field.

LSU-FLA 2007 was the loudest game I've ever been to followed by Saints-Patriots 2009.

Honestly I wish instead of booing an "LSU" chant would break out when the other team comes out while fans are cheering LSU's entrance.

Don't mean to pee in your cornflakes but in football, decibels-per-fan were higher in the '60s and '70s - when there was only the lower bowl.

If you were to listen to just the roar of the crowd from an LSU game and say an auburn game, with no context, then I absolutely guarantee that you couldn't tell the difference. Get out of here with this stupid shite

There's a reason Tiger Stadium is consistently ranked atop the loudest stadiums in the country. Jordan-Hare? You get out of here with that shite

I've been to every stadium in the league over the course of the last 25 years. Besides Tiger Stadium, the 2 loudest stadiums I have been to were Florida and Auburn, and it's not even close. Alabama and Tennessee don't compare.

The loudest single roar I've ever heard at a sporting event was Gleason's blocked punt vs. Atlanta in 2006.

The loudest overall games I've ever been to are LSU-Florida 2007 and the Saints-Vikings NFC Championship game.

I remember the Skylar Green catch against Georgia was pretty damn intense and freakin loud, my ears rang for an hour. I sat at the 40 midway up on LSU side.

I wasn't impressed with either, but then again they were day games when I went. Bama was pretty impressive imo, but again I was there in 2011, so that could also be skewed.

All I know is that nothing I've ever heard has compared to the 2012 loss to Alabama. The sustained noise was unbelievable. I wish I could have been in the stadium for 07 Florida

I wasn't at the NFC Championship game so I can't compare, but the Saints-Lions playoff game the Saturday night before LSU/Bama championship game was about the loudest stadium I have ever been to.

I can guarantee you weren't there in 07 when we played Florida. Anybody who says different wasn't there.

Also I hate you

Every recording of " I'm from Louisiana" needs to wiped off the face of planet Earth! That noise is freaking embarassing!

Jarvis landry td catch vs bama in 2012 is without a doubt the loudest roar I've ever heard and I've heard plenty of saints games when they had it rolling.

I hate that we cheer, then "booo" when the opponent comes out. That's what everyone does. We're supposed to be unique. We should chant "tiger bait" when the opponent comes out.

Totally agree.... have been around LSU sports events at home and on the road since the 70's.

I still like the old Alex Box crowd though, and the PMAC from '78-'92 was UNBELIEVABLE!!!
