New Orleans has to get it together ASAP....what could be one of the greatest cities in the world is quickly slipping away....hopefully it is not already gone forever.

There has to be some change / hope for NO....there just has to be.

Has been for years. Nothing new about this.

The slightest uptick of hope that permeated around 6-7 years ago is completely gone for all intents and purposes.

According to some, it's time to turn NOLA into plexiglass.

People have been saying this since the 80's and yet here we are. This city isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

More ebbs than flows at the moment. The 90's were abysmal for sure, but it isn't improving. If so, let's look at crime statistics. Sure, it's "better than" the bloodbath of the early 90's, but it's still insanely high for a city under 400k population.

Anyone get tired of defending NOLA? Honest question.

So when they drafted the fourth amendment, prohibiting the government from searching your papers and personal things without a warrant, they certainly weren't referring to anything on your computer or phone, right?

Katrina was a golden opportunity wasted.

Billions flowing in and a large number of undesirables were elsewhere.

NO East should have been razed and returned to swamp. State of the art flood barrier should have been built around the old city and turned it into a Charleston like tourist area.

But, no.

Yep! Definitely need to change racist street names and racist LSU mascot to help get murder rate down. Mitch and his liberal cronies are fricking morons!
