We need to pick a charity to benefit from our golf tournament.
I nominate St. Jude and Ronald McDonald house.
Submit your suggestions here. We will talley at the end of the month.
ETA: I didn't know chicken had a history with a charity. If he wants, I'll defer to him.
Admins: I can seriously work on organizing this during the summer while I am off. Email me: coachchappytd@gmail

St Jude. I have a soft spot for kids with cancer

St. Jude is least corrupt of most charities. Like I actually feel money donated to them actually goes towards the cause you're donating for.

Given Chicken's relationship with Bridge House & Grace House they might be the ideal charity.

St. Jude is a good one, but I'd also throw in Team Gleason just as another option.

The site has some affiliations with a couple of charities.
I will corner the clucker about this. Thanks for volunteering to organize.
I would be willing to sponsor from a personal and business standpoint. I know a few others that will sponsor in one way or another.

I really think that if we get partnered with a charity officially, we can really bring in some bucks. I know of a few companies that hold money for stuff like this so they can write it off. The charities will have the tax docs we need. We can get Machelor (sp?) involved, I've got a few broadcasting contacts, and maybe even LSU athletics in a non-official capacity. If scheduled correctly Coach O or CPM could come out. We can really do this right, have a blast, give out shite talking rights for a year, and raise some money for charity.

I did. I was a bit surprised that there were no tee bax markers to tell us what hole we were playing.
Greens were a lot slower than what I normally play.
It was a good time.

Yeah I'm sure some people that hadn't been there tried to go from 12 to 17, it happens a lot. I talked to the people that organized the tournament the day before. They are from Crowley and tried to do it at squirrel run again but they said the guy over there was acting like he didn't want it so they said frick it and moved it to Crowley. If it stays there I hope I get to play next year. I wish I could have this year, I need an MSA from the title sponsor
