Is this guy arguing that the team that got beat 37-14 (and it could've been much worse of Saban wanted to run it up) Inthe title game would've won if 1 player didn't get hurt? That's a bold strategy cotton...

You are an idiot
It was 37-21 and the last 13 points Bama scored was because of turnovers.
The game was much closer then the score indicated so I do not see how Bama could have run up the score like you say.

5 turnovers by UT's backup QB with 2 being luck of the bounce and not Bama forcing them turned the game again in the 2nd half

Where Texas went wrong was with their offense it was built around a fragile QB that couldn't take many hits from 300 lb linemen.
Unlike Bama that couldn't play power football and they put their QB in positions to get hurt or turn the ball over

10 Auburn

Not even the best Auburn since 1990 (2004). You can just judge teams based on solely their schedule. You also look at the roster and save an all time player in Newton, that 2010 Auburn team wasn't that great. That Miami team was loaded with talent and people knew it at the time, they would likely crush 10 Auburn.

No they weren't. They lost a ton on defense from '04.

If it wasn't for a terrible call Ohio State would have won the game in regulation.

Show proof

Show all these player that left 2004 USC

I looked at the draft and saw only three players drafted off the D
The fourth was Mike Williams WR who didn't play and sat out the year and the fifth was Matt Cassel backup QB

That 05 USC team was better than the team in 2004

This is 100% false. 05 USC defense was garbage. They were torched by ND and Fresno state before Texas ripped them a new a-hole.

The 04 D was one of carroll's best. Additionally, norm chow was still coaching the offense in 04, whereas 05 was co-oc's (two knuckleheads).

The narrative that Texas beat 04 USC is completely false. 04 USC still scores on that Texas defense, and they do not give up 41 points or anywhere near that. The 04 USC D was comparable to the Ohio st D that largely held vy in check at the horseshoe.

In my entire existence, I have never once seen or heard anyone say 2010 Auburn could beat 2001 Miami. I don't think Miami would crush them, but I don't think Auburn would win.

As for the 2004 versus 2010 Auburn teams, it's debatable. 2004 had more quality players, but 2010 had the best overall player. 2010 played a much tougher schedule as well. It's a hard call.

would love to hear your justification for this.

Colorado had like 8 players drafted that year, including multiple in the first and second round.

GT had three drafted that year, and the earliest was like the 8th round.

Colorado also had the 2nd highest SOS in the country that year, while GT had 28th.

Colorado needed a fifth down to beat a 4-7 Missouri team and a bogus penalty to beat Norte Dame in the Orange Bowl.

Not true at all

They would never have spiked the ball if they knew what down it was

I see if Colorado actually ran a play on that down but they did not

One of the most untrue stories in college football
The 5th down play

Only three of those players were good enough to be drafted

Look at the players that replaced them all drafted

Talent wise the 2005 D was much better and had more players drafted into the NFL

People only want to remember the interference call in OT, but forget that Miami had help to get to OT.

But ya know...OT

2 penalties on one play and a catch called incomplete

Keep trying. So far you're the only one who thinks that the '05 Trojan defense was as good as the '04 version.

Yeah, it speaks volumes that Colorado had major controversy in a number of their wins (Fifth down, phantom block in the back penalty against ND), a worse record than GT (CU 11-1-1 vs GT 11-0-1) and was still awarded a split championship.
