Heavy tree limb fell on power line - Advice

It is hanging on top of house and the power line wires. No damage to house or wires. Still have power. I can't do anything overnight. Worried about safety hazard. Thinking of calling Entergy to see what they do. It is leaning on the house. Little push would get it down but trees conduct electricity

Call Entergy ASAP. They have crews on call 24/7 for stuff like this that could be a potential safety hazard

safety hazard.
Just call. Better to be safe than sorry.

Get out there and pull it down. Just be sure to wear rubber sole shoes so you don't go to ground and everything should be OK.
On second thought leave it alone and call Entergy.

How do you know it's heavy?

Is your house new or old? I had something similar happen but my power was lying on ground so power company cut it off then I had three months of hell and a $5k bill to get everything fixed and up to code to get a passing inspection and a closed issue with the power company.

Don't monkey around with power lines.
Call entergy, it's what they are there for

It's a big branch. Can tell from the length and thickness

You'll be up a lot tonight with the noise, but seriously call Entergy. Could prevent a fire that way.

You can't be serious...
Good thing you ran to ask the internet what to do in this situation first

This is similar to the ruptured appendix threads with people asking for OT advice when they need to be in the ER.
Call the power company emergency line immediately. End of discussion.

You sure are dumb... must be a millennial.

OT - this post makes me wonder how you get through a day without seriously injuring yourself or others.
You call the fricking power company.

It's 2017... find the owner of the tree and sue for emotional distress
