Help with anniversary trip idea

20 year coming up. She likes to play black jack so we usually stay at a Biloxi casino, eat at Mary Mahone's and chill at pool during the day. I'd like to do something different but I'm coming up empty with something that caters to night life, and fun day time activities. We just have the weekend so it needs to be a relatively easy drive, which is why every year we go to the Beau Rivage or Hard Rock. Its just gotten same ol' same ol'.

When the statues left, the casinos went with them.

Fly to Vegas on Friday night. Gamble all night long, sleep in Saturday. Hit the pool early afternoon and see a show Saturday evening. Then gamble all night and fly home early Sunday AM.

God damn that sounds depressing.

Get out to a B and B in Natchez, MS or something. Take her out to eat.
Double down on some Viagra and keep hitting it till you bust. Lather, rinse, repeat.

And you have got here to stay 20 years?

Just thinking about doing something different. We do Vegas in the fall for a week and it's always a great trip. Might look into the Natches deal.

Good choice. Stay at that Grand Hotel or find a B&B near Fairhope.
Please do something other than a lame casino for an anniversary trip. LOL

Lots of nice B&Bs in Fairhope as others said. Same thing for plenty other places that are probably even closer. Don't do another stale casino trip. I know it needs to be a short trip, but going somewhere with a short direct flight can add a little excitement to the trip.

How about a weekend in Paris? Romantic, plenty of nightlife. Amazing to walk around, eat, and what not.
Or London if you want English language musicals/shows etc.
If those flights are too long, how about Montreal, or Quebec City. Beautiful places, and different.
Unless y'all prefer trashy places? I enjoy stuff like that from time to time, but not as often as I used to. And most definitely not for a big anniversary. But if that's her bag...

Did the 20th Anniversary sneak up on you or something?? Take a few extra days off work and go somewhere else. Take a 5 day cruise, go to Vegas for 3 or 4 nights, an all inclusive in Cancun..

Agreed, 20 years of marriage is something to celebrate. And worth more than just a quick weekend away. Even if you are on a tighter budget..you could easily go to some all inclusive in Playa del Carmen for 4-5 nights. My husband and I did that for our 1 year anniversary. Cost us only like 2k for airfare/resort(again...all inclusive so meals/drinks included when you stay on the resort).
Look into Palace Resorts. They are always having specials where you get so much in resort credits(that you can use to upgrade your room, spa treatments, excursions, etc) if you stay so many nights there.

Btw, why can't you book a good trip for later, and giver her the gift over a dinner on your anniversary?
