Brook showing great heart

Brook needs a KO to win
And that's probably not happening against ESJr

I love welterweight fighting... but it's hard to surpass the AJ/VK fight

We'll likely see Spence vs Thurman and Crawford vs Pac before they fight each other

I want to see Spence-Thurman more than Spence-Crawford
ETA: Pac just needs to vacate his title and focus on being a senator in the Philippines. He's not beating any of the top fighters in the division at his age

Yes, those last 4/5 rounds were quite impressive from Spence.

Thurman is a joke. Still can't believe they gave him that win over Shawn Porter.

How is Thurman a joke? That was a great fight, I thought Porter had a slight edge but you have to have more than a slight edge to take a title.
Posted on 5/27/17 at 5:41 pm to BennyAndTheInkJets
I thought Porter easily won. Maybe that's just me though. Don't like how Thurman ran from him after that either. He looked good against Garcia though, but I was never a big Garcia guy either.

I usually give anybody under Haymon the benefit of the doubt with picking fights. But it finally (fingers crossed) looks like all the pressure against Haymon's strategy of bloating records by pulling people out of caskets has made this an amazing couple years for fights.

Keith Thurman can't take body punches

So impressed with Spence. That crowd was unreal and he showed superb composure against a killer opponent.
We've got an awesome crop of guys at the top of this weight range who are really easy to root for in Spence, Thurman, Crawford, Porter. And these guys want to fight the best. It's the dawn after the darkness of the Mayweather years.

I see this as a testament to the greatness of Mayweather (Nobody would pick either fighter tonight to beat Floyd tomorrow). There's a false narrative that he waited for Manny to get old/slow to make the fight (even though Floyd is two years older). Also, people seem to forget that Pac hasn't knocked anyone out since agreeing to Floyd's initial demand of random blood/urine testing. Don't you think it's strange that he went from walking through punches from bigger fighters like Mosely, Hatton, Margarito, Clottey, and Cotto, to getting KO'd by the much smaller Marques?
