It's derailed. Ruined. Every time I see it bumped, I think it's news but instead it's yall fricksticks bickering over bullshite that no one cares about. He's a retard. That's established. Leave it at that and let it die if there are no more updates.

Well if thats not the pot calling the kettle black I dont know what the frick is.

Can somebody please provide summer baseball information?

Not many people have it. The ones that do post it here every so often.

In the "the more things change, the more they stay the same category".............Hunter Kiel 3.2 innings pitched, 12 walks.

Is Watson switch hitting in summer ball? I saw am article with a pic that looked like him in the left handed box
Posted on 7/23/17 at 9:39 pm to The Mad Fratter
He wasn't bad at it in high school.

He didn't take many ABs from the left side in high school. I know he's done it in the summer before and continued to practice and work on it and they had him listed as switch hitter in the lineup all season so I wouldn't be surprised if they let him try it next year.

He signed though. No longer LSU's issue.

Just a quick update on Hunter Feduccia. He's raised his average up to .394. He's got an OPS of 1.110 and a .276 ISO power.
He's played in 31 games this summer and has 16 multi-hit games.

Feduccia is locked in a zone and absolutely killing it. Not sure when this season ends but he has to be in the running, if not close to locking up the Northwoods batting title!
Looked at some Cape stats and Slaughter appears to be struggling a bit. .190 4-21 with 1 double. Smith is hitting .348 16-46 1 HR, 1 2b,4 RBI. Duplantis hitting .283 17-60, 2 HR, 4 2b,6 RBI. No one really killing it but then it is the Cape, would expect this to some extent. Still no Beau Jordan or Brennan Breaux, at this late stage my guess is that they are not playing summer ball.

What is the background on Feduccia? I see that he crushed it at LSU-E this year, but don't see any stats for 2016 (his Fr. year). Was he lightly recruited out of high school? Academics? From the summer ball stats it sounds like we got a great one.

Feduccia was at Barbe before LSUE. It's not uncommon for guys to opt for JUCO even without grade issues in baseball. It could be just to make sure they're getting the reps they want or if they didn't get the offers they wanted out of high school it helps keep their options open.
Feduccia started at C for LSUE his freshman (over Nick Coomes, who moved to 3B that season). He won a JUCO Gold Glove that season.
Freshman Year
Slash line: .385/.479/.585
16% BB rate, 11% K Rate, .200 ISO power, .482 wOBA

Seems like this kid is going to be the leading candidate to be our catcher. Coomes will be a candidate at 1st and 3rd I suppose?

MLB/Minor league stats of all Louisiana players are in Advocate every Sunday.
Note Kiel and Latz's stats. Kiel's ERA is 17.18

Coomes will not be a candidate at 3rd. He had like an .850 fielding percentage playing there in JUCO. He's a 1B/DH/C.

1st is likely, 3rd not so much. A couple weeks ago, I would've said Slaughter was probably our best option at 3rd, but he seems to be struggling more now than he was during the season. I hope he can turn it around in the fall, or we may have Reid or a freshman at 3rd.
