Suppose I missed this, if it was discussed before, but did Coach Brown make any public statement about this? I would hope and think he would now be supportive of Wade.

No offense to Dale Brown, but I don't give a shite what he thinks of Coach Wade.

I did read somewhere that they have met each other but Im not sure on a public statement. After the last couple hiring's Alleva had zero responsibility to the alumni in the hiring process.

I think Wade is really utilizing the history of the program though so I would think Daddy Dale would have to appreciate the strategic use of our storied past when pitching to recruits.

Brown is out of the picture at this stage. It really doesn't matter.

Why start a post that will bring out the young punks who will disrespect the greatest coach that LSU basketball has ever had? He is a scholar and a gentleman and bleeds purple and gold. He mad LSU basketball. Leave him alone.

Easy one...Dale is a great LSU Ambassador. That means that he will Publicly support and be in favor of Wade.

As different as their personalities are, there are quite a few similarities. I bet they will get along personally.

I kind of wish Dale Brown would go away already, unless he's back to boozin and cruisin, and using the "do you know who i am?" method of DUI defense. I actually like that Dale Brown better, Tigers were much better back then.

Dale was the greatest basketball coach in LSU history. He took a program that was in shambles and created energy and enthusiasm. He took us to two Final 4's. He put LSU basketball on the map and he was able to pack the PMAC almost every game at his peak. Sure, he tanked near the end but give the man some credit and respect. I think his endorsement of Wade adds further excitement. I think Wade has Dale Brown potential. It would be nice to give a damn about LSU basketball again.

Brown was garbage just like Charlie Mac. John Brady is the GOAT LSU basketball coach.

Dale Brown pushed for the hire of Johnny Jones. Therefore, his opinion is hereby null and void.

After the BS Brown and Temple pulled with JJ, they need to be paying the buyout and free concessions to the fans. The bullying of Alleva was criminal.

What I missed was Dale Brown capturing BigFoot. Shite pissed me off. He couldn't win with two or three seven footers. I sure thought a nine foot shasquatch would have won us a national championship.

Why would anyone care what 90 year old Dale Brown thinks? He's the one that got us in this position! If I never hear about him again, just fine with me. POS!

Dale Brown, like many white people, are obsessed with helping minorities.

There is nothing wrong with that, but it clouds their judgement sometimes.
