GoFundMe, or I'm just too lazy to do anything about my situation.

I wonder how people got by before GoFundMe was created. It's just a gimmie, gimmie, gimmie world. Look what I have been through, now give me money.

Adversity sucks but depending on weak minded individuals for money is for scumbags. And the people who donate need to realize they're part of the problem for enabling this kind of behavior.

Why does the kid being born healthy matter? Healthy mothers give birth to sick kids all the time, the two are not related.

This was an unexpected tragedy. I have no problem with someone asking for help.

First off, sad story. I can't imagine the pain. But these comments of "unexpected" are complete and utter bullshite. Everyone dies and no one knows when. GoFundMe isn't life insurance. People need to wake up and do the financially responsible thing for their family instead of thinking they're bulletproof and burdening their responsibilities on others.

Something like that happens to you will make you question God.

You probably should place the blame at Adam and Eve's feet for this.

At the risk of sounding like a heartless bastard, once you have kids PLEASE GET LIFE INSURANCE!

You owe it to your kids....What if both parents die? Who has to raise their kids AND bear 100% of the cost? Term Life is too cheap to not get it.

So sad and it was more than likely preventable with proper care.

it's sad when this comment has 4 downvotes and no upvotes. Good sign of the world we live in today.

I'm on the fence about the gofundme deal. Just looking at the surroundings in the picture, they probably aren't well off. And funerals are expensive. Plus now the dad is burdened with taking off work to care for these kids until he gets his shite back together.

This isn't nearly as bad as a trashy gal I went to school with who set up a gofundme for her medical bills related to diabetes. And then constantly posting pictures of her and her husband at the casino and buffet in Shreveport.

At least have a small policy that will cover funeral/burial expenses. My parents are very poor...but my dad has still has life insurance on himself and my mom.
